Short description

In this prestigious location, you can feel the charm of old Warsaw once called "Paris of the North". In the heart of the city, on the 2nd floor of a pre-war tenement house once inhabited by scholars, professors and the Warsaw intelligentsia, there is a unique apartment. Once a month, it turns into a temporary art gallery and hosts guests from various parts of Poland who exhibit their works here.

The space

From July 2018, 15 pop-up exhibitions took place here, at which several hundred works were presented. Each such event is intensified two days - an evening opening and "rehearsals" the next day, when you can watch the work sitting on a comfortable sofa or sipping coffee in the kitchen - like at home. The exhibition remains on the walls until the next opening, being in the meantime exclusively available to the guests of the apartment.

Stay at this spacious, uniquely designed apartment in the heart of vibrant Warsaw's city centre. The space accommodates up to 6 (max. 7) people and stands proudly with its 3,5m high ceilings. It is located in a well-kept pre-war building. It is one of those rare exceptions that survived war bombings.

You are welcome to a BEDROOM with a comfortable queen-size bed (160x200) and a quality mattress. Two sofa beds each for up to 2 people in a huge LIVING AREA with a private balcony and a dining table. In a fully equipped KITCHEN, you will find ingredients to fix yourself a healthy breakfast (milk, oats, muesli, homemade jam or organic honey from a beekeeper friend!). The BATHROOM is roomy and has a large shower.

Additionally, the apartment has a laundry machine, a big fridge, a dishwasher, and fast free wifi.

Check In

Un des plus délicieux appartement dans lequel j'ai eu le plaisir de séjourner la déco est hyper chouette. Bravo !!!!

Pretty nice place in the center of the city. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and other buildings of relevance. The place has the old world charm but looks older than in the pictures. It's was quite warm which seems to be harder to find these days in Europe. I liked that what should be mentioned however, it's a walk up on the third floor (by US count). The hosts put a few small things here and there, little small conveniences and also cute items. However, what puzzles me is the curtain in the living room covers only half a window and there are no blinds behind it to block out the light like on other windows. Why would you worry about cute little things here and there but have a gaping deficiency? Having said that, I was comfortable and will consider staying there again if I am back in Warsaw.

The location is amazing. The communication with Oomp was excellent and very friendly. In our case, maybe because we travelled over the holidays, the price for the apartment was way too high. The apartment is charming on first glance and spacious, but there was an odd smell in the bathroom and one sofa had cigarette holes and was overall in a quite used condition. An old armchair nearly fell apart while I was nursing my daughter. The WiFi connection was not very good. The radiator was leaking and it had to be repaired during our stay. Parts of the furniture and the kitchen drawers were also a bit dusty. We paid around 2700 Euros for our three-weeks-stay which is simply too much for what we got. As much as we loved the great location, the beautiful building and wooden floors we would not book the apartment again.
